Job summary

SpaceXAI is seeking an Electrical Engineer to design, build, and optimize on-site power generation for its Memphis facilities. The role owns plant electrical systems for gas turbine generation, including generator, excitation, synchronization, and 34.5 kV collection/export, with protection, e-houses, and switching authority.

You will collaborate across electrical, mechanical, and construction teams to deliver reliable, large-scale power for AI data center environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• Experience with gas turbine generators and 34.5 kV systems.
• Familiarity with utility interconnection and NERC/ERCOT standards.

Responsibilities

• Own plant electrical systems for on-site gas turbine generation and auxiliaries.
• Design 34.5 kV collect/export, protection, control, and e-houses.
• Serve as switching authority for plant electrical systems and energization.
• Develop single-line diagrams and relay settings for protection schemes.
• Perform load flow, short circuit, arc flash, and transient studies.
