Job summary

Oldcastle APG is seeking a Site Manager for its Calverton, NY Dry Mix Concrete facility. You will lead a fast-paced manufacturing site, drive safety, quality, and efficiency, and direct a skilled team to meet business goals. The role emphasizes on-floor leadership, cost control, and continuous improvement across functions.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years as a plant manager in manufacturing, with strong OSHA knowledge and a track record of delivering results in automated environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and/or 5+ years as a plant manager in a similar industry or equivalent.
• Experience managing automated, high-speed manufacturing.
• Strong working knowledge of OSHA and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safety, housekeeping, preventive maintenance, productivity, and quality on site.
• Manage expenses to meet financial goals and improve site performance.
• Drive continuous improvement and share best practices across sites.
• Develop capital project plans and monitor KPI dashboards and reports.
• Recruit, mentor, and develop a strong site team and training programs.
