Job summary

Ducommun, Inc. Tulsa facility is seeking a Plant Controller to lead financial close, GAAP reporting, and SOX compliance in a manufacturing setting. You will partner with Operations leadership to drive forecasting, cost analysis, and value creation across the plant.

The role requires strong accounting expertise, manufacturing cost control, and the ability to influence senior stakeholders with data-driven insights. On-site duties include close coordination with site leadership and audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 8+ years in progressive accounting/finance in manufacturing.
• Experience supporting month-end close, forecasting, budgeting, and financial reporting.
• Experience with government contracting accounting principles (CAS, FAR exposure preferred).
• Experience leading finance teams in a manufacturing or multi-shift environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.
• Prepare financial statements under US GAAP and corporate reporting rules.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations, variance analysis, and account reviews.
• Ensure SOX compliance, testing, and internal control effectiveness.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and respond to requests.
• Develop site-level accounting procedures and maintain control frameworks.
• Lead annual operating plan, monthly forecasts, and long-range planning.
• Monitor manufacturing costs, including labor, overhead, and material usage.
• Provide financial insights to improve profitability and cost performance.
• Manage all product costing activities and cost reporting with operations.
