Job summary

Connectly Recruiting is seeking an experienced Plant Controller to join a leading manufacturing facility in Illinois. This strategic finance role partners with operations to drive profitability, budgeting, forecasting, and capital planning.

You will oversee GAAP-compliant reporting, standard costing, inventory controls, month- and year-end closes, and develop the Accounting team while guiding senior leadership on financial decisions.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years of Controller experience in manufacturing.
• Experience leading accounting teams in a complex manufacturing environment.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial operations for the manufacturing facility with timely reporting.
• Prepare monthly/quarterly/annual statements and analyses.
• Develop operating budget, forecasts, and business plan.
• Partner with plant leadership to guide financial decisions.
• Oversee costing, inventory valuation, and cost control.
