Job summary

The ideal candidate holds a related degree and 3+ years in manufacturing planning, with strong Excel skills and experience in SAP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field.
• 3 or more years of planning experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Working knowledge of planning, forecasting, and analysis to drive proper inventory.
• Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• ERP System experience, SAP preferred and knowledge and understanding of order management.
• Driving continuous improvement leveraging AI tools and reporting.
• Excellent written and verbal skills – the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers.

Responsibilities

• Execute planning activities for finished instruments, refurbished instruments, and customer-facing materials to support product availability and achievement of customer delivery commitments.
• Own day-to-day order management activities while supporting the development and execution of inventory strategies that balance customer requirements with inventory investment, holding costs, and inventory turn objectives.
• Serve as a planning contact for sales partners regarding order fulfillment, product availability, customer priorities, and delivery commitments, escalating complex issues as needed.
• Partner closely with the Global Sales organization to manage customer orders, establish and communicate Customer Ready Dates (CRDs), and provide timely visibility into order status and product availability.
• Participate in cross-functional planning activities with Procurement, Manufacturing, Logistics and Global Planning to support operational and customer service objectives.
