Job summary

Ascentec Engineering, LLC is seeking a Planner II to ensure material availability and support production schedules. You will review MRP output, assess planning risks, maintain planning data, and coordinate with purchasing, production, engineering, quality, and scheduling to keep jobs moving on time.

This onsite role focuses on reducing delays due to shortages, improving inventory visibility, and creating executable production plans across operations.

Qualifications

• Experience reviewing MRP output and identifying shortages.
• Ability to coordinate with Purchasing, Production, Engineering, Quality, and Scheduling.
• Strong data accuracy and change-management in planning data.
• Experience with ERP planning systems and BOM/revision control.

Responsibilities

• MRP Review and Supply/Demand Alignment: Review MRP output, identify planned orders, shortages, demand changes, supply gaps and planning exceptions.
• Job Readiness and Material Planning: Own job readiness reviews for material availability, BOM alignment, routing readiness, and open constraints.
• Planning Parameter and Data Management: Maintain or update lead times, lot sizes, safety stock, reorder points, and planning codes.
• Shortage, Inventory, and Risk Management: Track shortages, late supply, and inventory discrepancies; escalate material risks.
• Cross-Functional Coordination: Act as planning contact for products; work with purchasing, production, quality, engineering, and inventory control.
• Reporting and Continuous Improvement: Maintain planning reports and contribute to KPI improvements.
