Qualifications

• MD or DO with Florida license or ability to obtain.
• Board certified in an ABMS specialty.
• Minimum 5 years hospital leadership experience.
• On-site, full-time presence.

Responsibilities

• Review cases for appropriate Level of Care and monitor observation stays.
• Educate physicians and committees on utilization and documentation best practices.
• Lead daily huddles, complex case conferences, and peer education.
• Chair the Utilization Management Committee quarterly.
• Partner with CDI/HIM teams to improve documentation quality.
• Collaborate with administration to reduce denials and delays.
