Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program is required.
• Current state license to practice physical therapy and CPR certification.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in documentation and basic computer use.
• Flexible and adaptable in clinical settings.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients’ physical abilities and limitations, considering their history and specific diagnoses.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans using a variety of therapeutic techniques, including exercise regimens, manual therapy, and modalities aimed at pain relief and mobility enhancement.
• Engage in continuous monitoring of patient progress, documenting treatment outcomes, and adapting plans as necessary to ensure optimal recovery.
• Educate patients, their families, and caregivers about treatment protocols, exercises, and the use of prescribed assistive devices to promote independence.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to share insights and tailor comprehensive care strategies for patients.
• Stay current with advancements in physical therapy practices through professional development opportunities, workshops, and memberships in relevant organizations.
