Qualifications

• Degree in Physical Therapy (Doctorate preferred).
• Current State License in Physical Therapy to practice in New Jersey.
• Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing to facilitate clear patient interactions and coordination with healthcare teams.
• Proficiency with electronic health records and basic computer skills to document patient care efficiently.
• A flexible and adaptable approach to managing diverse patient needs and treatment protocols.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to create effective individualized treatment plans aimed at achieving maximum functional recovery.
• Administer physical therapy interventions, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and patient education to support pain relief and improve mobility.
• Utilize specialized equipment and modalities, adapting treatment based on the patient's progress and needs.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, updating treatment plans as necessary and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Educate patients and their families about therapeutic exercises, injury prevention techniques, and the use of assistive devices that can enhance their recovery and independence.
• Participate in continuous professional development through workshops, seminars, and networking to remain at the forefront of physical therapy advancements.
