Job summary

Indiana University Health in Fort Wayne is seeking a Pharmacy Manager to lead our Retail Pharmacy leadership team. This onsite role oversees daily operations of the hospital pharmacy and staff, coordinating clinical and operational initiatives to improve patient care.

Ideal candidates have 5–7 years of pharmacist experience, a PharmD or BS in Pharmacy, and Indiana licensure. The position involves collaboration with physicians, regulatory compliance, and ongoing process improvements.

Qualifications

• Indiana pharmacist license or eligibility is required.
• PharmD or BS in Pharmacy (prior to 2006) required.
• 5–7 years of pharmacist experience required.
• Knowledge of federal and state laws and regulations governing dispensing.
• Management experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees daily operations of the hospital pharmacy and staff.
• Provides care to improve patient outcomes through medication management.
• Collaborates with physicians on patient drug therapy outcomes.
• Assists Pharmacy Director with P&T committee activities.
• Ensures compliance with federal, state and local laws.
• Leads process improvements and quality initiatives.
• Manages inventory and pharmacy financial performance.
• Travel to Muncie and Indianapolis prior to May 2027; travel will be limited thereafter.
