Qualifications

• Certified Phlebotomist or Associates degree in Medical Technology with 3 years of phlebotomy experience.
• Experience with venipuncture and blood or research specimen collection.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Teams.
• Current First Aid/CPR certification, or ability to obtain and maintain it.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and collect research specimens in accordance with approved protocols.
• Schedule donors, manage sample requests, and maintain volunteer information in electronic systems.
• Obtain informed consent, answer volunteer questions, and protect confidentiality.
• Accurately document, track, and archive records in line with SOPs and FDA requirements.
• Complete quarterly lab safety checks and report concerns promptly.
• Follow applicable GxP, FDA, EHSS, OSHA, HIPAA, and IRB requirements; maintain current First Aid/CPR certification.
• Work under supervision with day-to-day independence and perform other duties as assigned.
