Mass General Brigham is seeking a part-time Per Diem Phlebotomist for onsite work in Salem, MA. Early morning availability is required with weekend availability strongly preferred.

You will collect and process blood specimens, ensure accurate patient identification, labeling, and transport, while upholding HIPAA and safety standards. Responsibilities include patient communication, teamwork with care teams, and handling sharps and biohazard materials in compliance with regulations.

Formación

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of a phlebotomy course preferred.
• Licensure: Class D Driver's License (state) preferred for HR access.

Responsabilidades

• Obtains quality blood samples using phlebotomy methods for all ages.
• Ensures correct patient identification and proper specimen labeling.
• Processes, handles, and transports specimens per regulatory requirements.
• Assists in medical emergencies and supports patient care teams.
• Maintains HIPAA-compliant communication with patients and staff.
