Lykos Energy, LLC is seeking a Payroll Specialist to manage weekly payroll for multiple entities, ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, and support the accounting team with related tasks. This onsite role is based in West Fargo, ND.

Responsibilities include wage garnishments, certified payroll, quarterly/annual tax reports (941, W-2s, ACA 1095-C), multi-state withholding, and responding to employee payroll inquiries. Proficiency in Excel and accounting software is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare weekly payroll for multiple companies.
• Process wage garnishments and child support orders in compliance with legal requirements.
• Prepare and submit weekly certified payroll reports.
• Ensure compliant payroll processing for projects subject to prevailing wage requirements.
• Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll issues and discrepancies.
• Submit payment and file multi-state withholding and unemployment taxes accurately.
• Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local tax regulations.
• Prepare all quarterly and year-end tax reports (941, W-2s, ACA 1095-C).
• Maintain and document payroll records with confidentiality.
• Track and deduct optional supplemental benefits as requested by employees.
• Assist with other accounting functions as directed.
• Review and audit daily timesheets.
