Job summary

All Source Co. is seeking a Payroll Coordinator to join our onsite team in San Diego.

You will partner with the Payroll Manager to process weekly payroll for about 200 employees, ensure compliance with federal, state, union, and local regulations, and maintain accurate payroll records. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree or 4+ years of equivalent experience, proficiency with payroll software and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint, OneDrive, Procore), and excellent

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 4+ years of equivalent experience.
• Experience with certified payroll, union labor, and prevailing wage laws.
• Construction industry experience is a plus.
• Extensive payroll experience with union reporting and fringe benefits.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in Payroll software and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint, OneDrive, Procore).
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Complete weekly full cycle payroll, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate with HR and Project Managers on hires, terminations, pay rate changes, and job classifications.
• Maintain confidentiality of payroll information and documents.
• Assist the Project Accountant team with project startups, invoicing, and subcontractor compliance.
• Process certified payroll reports for union employees and submit weekly.
• Prepare and submit documents to DIR/LCPT/Wrapworks and other systems.
• Assist with monthly union reports to unions and signatory committees.
• Collaborate with union representatives to resolve payroll issues.
• Maintain accurate payroll records and employee data in the system.
• Serve as a point of contact for payroll inquiries and provide timely communication.
• Support audits by providing necessary documentation and reports.
