This full-time, days position provides administrative and clerical support, helps with patient scheduling and registration in the electronic health record, and ensures smooth daily operations.

You will greet patients, handle inquiries, maintain records per hospital policy, protect confidentiality, and contribute to a culture of safety.

Qualifications

• High school education or GED required.
• No prior experience required.
• Onsite position.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and clerical support to assigned department(s) to support efficient and organized daily operations.
• Coordinate communication by answering phones, greeting patients and visitors, routing inquiries, and relaying messages accurately and timely.
• Prepare and maintain departmental documents, correspondence, records, files, and reports in accordance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements.
• Accurately complete patient scheduling/registration in electronic health record to support timely, compliant patient care and billing processes.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling patient, employee, and departmental information at all times.
• Contribute to a culture of safety by preparing, preventing, protecting and responding as needed.
• Work hours per week as per offer letter or position attributes; longer hours may be required.
