Wood County Hospital is seeking a Patient Services Specialist at Falcon Health Center on a per diem basis. You will provide essential administrative support, answer phones, greet patients, and route inquiries to ensure smooth daily operations and a positive patient experience.

Responsibilities include accurate patient scheduling in the EHR, maintaining records, and upholding confidentiality while supporting a culture of safety. Onsite role with variable hours per the offer letter.

Formación

• High school education or GED is required.
• No prior experience is required.
• No licenses or certifications are required.

Responsabilidades

• Provide administrative and clerical support to assigned department to enable efficient daily operations.
• Answer phones, greet patients and visitors, route inquiries, and relay messages accurately and timely.
• Prepare and maintain departmental documents, correspondence, records, files and reports per hospital policies.
• Accurately complete patient scheduling/registration in the EHR to support timely, compliant patient care and billing processes.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling patient, employee, and departmental information at all times.
• Support our culture of safety and participate in related activities.
• Work hours per week per offer letter or position attributes; longer hours may be required.
• Other duties as assigned.
