Job summary

CenterWell Senior Primary Care in the United States is seeking an on-site Medical Assistant who becomes a Patient Specialist. You will guide patients from check-in to the exam room, perform intake, basic health checks, and explain procedures clearly to support physicians' decisions.

You will manage EMR inbox, verify medications and allergies, document patient history, and perform validated screenings; also you will use loop-back to ensure patient understanding, with a focus on safety and HIPAA

Qualifications

• HIPAA & Safety policies – Protects privacy and follows safety requirements.
• Infection prevention and OSHA – Applies infection control and safety standards.
• Computer literacy.

Responsibilities

• Intake & Clinical Rooming: Verify meds/allergies, document history, conduct screenings.
• Inbox & Worklist Management: Use EMR routing to handle messages, labs, adherence follow-ups for same-day touch.
• Education & Loop-Back: Ensure patients understand next steps by repeating back instructions.
