Ensemble is hiring an Entry Level Patient Access Specialist to join the team at Children’s Minnesota - Minneapolis Hospital in Minneapolis, MN. Qualifications

• 1+ years of customer service experience.
• Willingness to innovate including AI to improve processes.
• CRCR certification to be obtained within 9 months of hire (company paid).

Responsibilities

• Patient Access staff are responsible for assigning accurate MRNs, completing medical necessity / compliance checks, collecting insurance information, receiving and processing physician orders, and providing excellent customer service as measured by Press Ganey.
• Operates the telephone switchboard to relay incoming, outgoing, and inter-office calls as applicable.
• Adheres to policies and delivers excellent customer service with appropriate compassion.
• Achieves point of service goals and participates in quality auditing and reporting to support POS and billing processes.
• Pre-registers patient accounts including collecting demographics, insurance, and patient financial liabilities and payment plan options.
