Job summary

Ensemble is seeking a Patient Access Specialist to join our team onsite at Children’s Minnesota – St. Paul Hospital in St. Paul, MN.

You will perform admitting duties, collect insurance information, and ensure accurate medical records while upholding regulatory compliance and exceptional patient service. Requirements include 1+ year of customer service and a High School Diploma/GED; CRCR certification must be obtained within 9 months of hire (company-paid).

Qualifications

• 1+ years of customer service experience.
• High School Diploma/GED required.
• CRCR certification required within 9 months of hire (company paid).

Responsibilities

• Assign MRNs and complete medical necessity/compliance checks while delivering excellent customer service.
• Operate telephone switchboard and relay calls.
• Explain consent forms and distribute patient education documents.
• Screen eligibility using ABN software and document outcomes.
• Pre-register patient accounts and collect demographic/insurance information.
