Responsibilities

• Handle admitting duties for patients at the hospital and perform pre-registration duties.
• Verify demographics and insurance information and collect necessary patient data.
• Explain consent forms and patient education documents to patients/guardians.
• Review insurance eligibility and assist with POS collections and billing processes.
• Screen medical necessity using ABN software and communicate potential non-payment to patients.
