Ensemble Health Partners invites applications for an Entry Level Patient Access Associate Specialist. Qualifications

• 1+ years of customer service experience.
• Must be inquisitive and demonstrate openness to innovation including AI to explore better processes and ways to alleviate friction and improve patient and client experiences.

Responsibilities

• Assign accurate MRNs, complete medical necessity/compliance checks, collect insurance information, and process physician orders with an overlay tool while delivering excellent customer service.
• Operate the telephone switchboard for internal communications.
• Adhere to policies and provide compassionate customer service in interactions.
• Be held accountable for point-of-service goals as assigned.
• Support auditing and reporting systems to correct accounts and provide data to leadership.
• Pre-register patient accounts prior to visits and collect demographic, insurance, and financial information.
• Explain consent forms and distribute patient education documents to patients/guarantors.
• Review eligibility responses and enter benefit data to support POS and billing processes.
• Screen medical necessity using ABN software and distribute appropriate forms.
