Job summary

Ensemble Health Partners is seeking an entry-level Patient Access Specialist to perform admitting duties for patients at Benefis - East Campus in Great Falls, MT. The role requires strong customer service and the ability to handle insurance information, physician orders, and education distribution.

The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma or GED and a willingness to obtain CRCR certification within 9 months.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of customer service experience.
• Must be inquisitive and demonstrate openness to innovation including AI to explore better processes and experiences.

Responsibilities

• Assign accurate MRNs and complete medical necessity/compliance checks.
• Provide patient instructions, collect insurance information, process physician orders, and use overlay tools while delivering excellent service.
• Meet point-of-service goals as assigned.
• Operate telephone switchboard and maintain compassionate customer interactions.
• Screen medical necessity using ABN software and inform Medicare patients of possible non-payment.
• Explain and distribute patient education materials and consent forms.
• Review eligibility responses in insurance verification system and support POS and billing processes to ensure clean claims.
