Responsibilities

• The Patient Access Representative performs admitting duties for all patients admitted for services at the hospital.
• Assigns MRNs, conducts medical necessity / compliance checks, provides patient instructions, collects insurance information, processes physician orders, and uses an overlay tool while delivering excellent customer service.
