Job summary

Themesoft Inc. is seeking a Parts Specialist to be based onsite in Milford, OH.

This six-month contract role focuses on PLM and parts management, including creating and updating parts, managing BOMs, and executing change requests in close collaboration with engineering. You will perform BOM where-used analysis, review part families and lifecycle status, and restore retired parts as needed under engineering guidance and configuration management rules.

Qualifications

• Experience with PLM and parts management.
• Ability to manage BOM structures reflecting engineering changes.

Responsibilities

• Create new parts and update BOM structures to reflect approved engineering changes and product definitions.
• Initiate Change Requests related to parts and standard components.
• Perform BOM “where-used” analysis and review part families, attributes, lifecycle status, interchangeability data, supersessions and usage rules.
• Restore retired child parts to active status per engineering input and configuration management rules.
• Identify and create alternate parts where required.
• Collaborate with Engineering to resolve errors that prevent promotion or release in PLM.

Part Specialist/Standard Part Creation/Lifecycle Maintenance Services
