Job summary

Pacer Group seeks a Part Specialist for contract work in Ohio. The role covers standard part creation and lifecycle maintenance with a Mon-Fri 8am-5pm schedule in Milford. Pay is $45-$50 per hour on W2.

Key duties include initiating change requests, updating BOM structures, and collaborating with Engineering to resolve PLM issues in line with approved engineering changes and product definitions.

Qualifications

• Export control scope experience related to Nuclear/Defense Document Control & Management.
• Required Technical Skill Set: Nuclear / Defense, Parts Specialist, PLM (Product Lifecycle Management), BOM Management
• Skills: EIS: Plant Design Engineering - Process

Responsibilities

• Initiate Change Requests related to parts and standard components.
• Create new parts and update existing BOM structures to reflect approved engineering changes and product definition conventions.
• Collaborate with Engineering to resolve errors that prevent promotion or release in PLM.
• Review and update part families, attributes, lifecycle status, interchangeability data, supersessions, alternates, usage rules, and reference documents.
• Restore previously retired child parts to active status when needed, based on approved Engineering input and configuration management rules.
• Identify and create alternate parts where required.
