Responsibilities

• The Patient Access Representative is responsible for performing admitting duties for all patients admitted for services at the hospital.
• Responsible for collecting insurance information, verifying eligibility, and providing patient instructions.
• Operates the telephone switchboard and delivers compassionate, service-focused support.
• Performs pre-registration, ensures accurate forms, and supports POS and billing processes.
