Job summary

myPlace Health in Downtown Los Angeles is seeking a Scheduler for its PACE program. You will coordinate participant appointments across medical, therapy, and social services, working with an interdisciplinary team to ensure timely care.

The role requires 2+ years in medical scheduling, EMR proficiency, and strong communication. This onsite position supports transportation coordination, orientation scheduling, and regulatory timelines in a compassionate team environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 2 years in medical scheduling or healthcare administration.
• 1 year of experience with frail elderly participants preferred.
• Experience using EMR systems to manage schedules.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish to serve a diverse community.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule medical, dental, therapy, and specialty appointments.
• Facilitate external appointments with referrals, authorizations, and transportation.
• Organize new participant orientation and initial assessments across multiple disciplines.
• Optimize scheduling across care settings and minimize conflicts.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR and schedule systems.
