The University of Chicago Medicine is seeking a Medical Assistant to join the Orthopaedics team at the DCAM - Hyde Park clinic. This 100% onsite role supports patient care under supervision of RN/APN/Physician, performing vaccines, EKGs, vital signs, charting, and coordination with the healthcare team to enhance patient care.

Responsibilities include documenting care, taking vital signs, conducting tests, performing phlebotomy, and assisting with specimen collection in a fast-paced academic

Qualificações

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Current CPR certification.
• Phlebotomy experience.
• Community health setting experience.
• Certified/registered Medical Assistant program (CMA) credential.
• Graduate of CMA program or CMA credential.

Responsabilidades

• Perform any or all duties involving direct patient care as assigned by the RN or physician and within Nursing policies.
