Job summary

VVater is seeking an onsite Operations Program Manager in Austin, TX to lead planning, scheduling, dashboards, and cross‑functional coordination across manufacturing, field ops, engineering, procurement, and O&M.

You will translate strategy into executable plans with owners, dates, and KPIs; build tools and lightweight apps, and drive real-time reporting for leadership. This role demands a fast-paced, hands‑on mindset and strong communication.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in operations program management or related field.
• Mastery of project planning and scheduling with a track record of on-time delivery.
• Strong data and reporting skills; ability to turn data into dashboards and insights.
• Software and technical fluency; able to build lightweight internal tools or automations.
• Hands-on fluency with AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, etc.).
• Experience in manufacturing, hardware, industrial, or field services operations.
• Familiarity with ERP and MRP systems and work-management platforms.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and manage major ops initiatives across manufacturing, field deployment, and O&M.
• Define scope, milestones, dependencies, owners, and timelines; track progress.
• Coordinate across cross-functional teams; drive accountability to dates.
• Build dashboards, trackers, and lightweight internal tools for ops.
• Provide real-time operational reporting to the Director of Operations and leadership.
• Support procurement, logistics, and materials coordination as needed.
