Job summary

Collins Aerospace in Durham, NH is seeking an Operations Program Manager (OPM) to lead manufacturing readiness and operational performance across programs. You will work with cross-functional teams and the RLPM framework to ensure quality, cost, and schedule commitments, without day-to-day supervision on the shop floor.

The role serves as the primary operations focal, driving the production plan, risk management, and process improvements with occasional travel to support program needs.

Responsibilities

• Acts as Operations focal for Critical Programs, compliant with the Collins Management System
• Participates in RLPM gate reviews from concept through production transition
• Establishes review and transition criteria for predictable quality, schedule and cost
• Creates, communicates and drives adherence to the Production Plan
• Identify risks, gaps, and improvement opportunities impacting operational performance
• Develop and execute cost reduction and process improvement initiatives
• Lead corrective actions and action plans tied to productivity, yield, and efficiency
• Facilitate integrated scheduling to align master production schedule with program needs
• Escalates risks when schedules, capacity, or materials threaten delivery
• Drives recovery plans when schedules slip
• Identify, communicate, and mitigate operational risks to program plans
• Interface with Program Management, Engineering, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and internal customers
• Occasional travel of one trip per quarter
