Job summary

Summit Electric Supply in Irving, TX is seeking an Onsite Support Specialist – People Manager to lead the customer site team, oversee daily operations, safety, and service delivery, and act as the primary Summit representative.

You will manage staffing, training, performance feedback, and Lean/5S initiatives, coordinate with HR and Operations, ensure SAP accuracy, and maintain customer relationships while driving continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of leadership experience in warehouse, onsite services, or distribution.
• Experience leading people with scheduling, coaching, and corrective action.
• Strong customer service orientation and relationship management.
• Ability to influence and lead without daily direct oversight.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct leadership and supervision to all associates at the customer site.
• Manage staffing, onboarding, coaching, scheduling, and daily direction.
• Conduct performance feedback and disciplinary actions with HR support.
• Oversee safety, compliance, and operating procedures at the site.
• Lead Lean/5S and continuous improvement initiatives; manage relationships with customer leadership.
