Job summary

Summit Electric Supply is seeking an Onsite Support Specialist – People Manager to lead Summit staff at a customer site, oversee daily operations, and ensure service delivery. This role acts as the senior Summit representative, driving performance and adherence to policies.

You will supervise onsite personnel, manage staffing and training, and partner with HR and Operations to address issues, while maintaining inventory accuracy and safety at the site.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years in warehouse, operations, onsite services, or distribution leadership.
• Proven ability to lead people, schedule work, and manage performance.
• Strong SAP proficiency and ability to train others in its use.
• Ability to operate independently with limited supervision.
• Customer-focused with strong relationship management skills.
• Organizational and time-management strengths.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise all onsite Summit staff at the customer site.
• Train, onboard, coach, schedule, and direct daily activities of onsite personnel.
• Provide performance feedback and disciplinary actions in partnership with HR/Operations.
• Ensure safety, policy compliance, and inventory accuracy at the site.
• Maintain strong relationships with customer leadership and frontline staff.
• Represent Summit to customers and coordinate with sales, warehouse, and operations.
