Job summary

Accenture Construct is seeking a Project Engineer/Office Engineer to support construction administration on transit and public infrastructure projects at client sites in Washington. You will assist with contract administration, submittals, RFIs, change management, billing, and closeout activities, ensuring safety, schedules, and budgets are met.

You will coordinate with field teams, utility stakeholders, inspectors, and transit staff, with onsite shifts and day/night assignments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 3+ years of construction administration experience on transit/public infrastructure projects.
• Valid Washington State driver’s license or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Support Construction Manager and Resident Engineer with day-to-day contract administration, including reviewing contract requirements, monitoring budgets and costs, and preparing project reports.
• Review, track, process, and distribute submittals, RFIs, change requests, design submittals, shop drawings, product data, work plans, meeting minutes, and project correspondence.
• Review submittals, deliverables, and construction documentation for completeness, accuracy, and compliance, coordinating reviews and resolutions.
• Manage document control and change control processes; maintain project logs and distribution lists; ensure PMIS records.
• Maintain current contract documents (drawings, specs, approved-for-construction docs, shop drawings, revisions).
• Track and report status of submittals, RFIs, changes; prepare dashboards, logs; support progress payments and related records.
• Assist with change management and contract modifications, including cost/schedule evaluations and change orders.
• Coordinate with field inspectors to monitor construction activities for compliance with requirements, safety, permits, and budgets.
• Support project schedule administration by tracking schedules, milestones, look-ahead plans, interfaces, and action items.
• Analyze drawings/technical docs; support constructability/design reviews and disposition tracking.
• Coordinate with utilities, permitting authorities, testing teams, and transit staff on interfaces.
• Assist with federal contract compliance documentation (Buy America, Davis-Bacon, DBE).
• Prepare status reports, memos, correspondences, presentations, estimates for clients and leadership.
• Support contract administration before/after award: modifications, inspections, turnover, coordination.
• Support project closeout: punch lists, as-builts, manuals, warranties, turnover packages.
