Job summary

Sysco Arizona is seeking an experienced Occupational Health Nurse Manager to establish and lead the on-site clinic, directing planning, administering, and evaluating services to maintain a safe, healthy, and accident‑free work environment.

The role collaborates with Operations, Human Resources, Safety, and Finance to support Sysco’s Health, Safety and Environmental goals. RN license, COHN/COHN-S, and case‑management capabilities are required; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Active nursing license in the state of practice.
• 2 years of nursing experience (emergency or critical care a plus).
• 1 year in occupational health role and/or case-management experience preferred.
• Experience in a warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing environment preferred.
• COHN or COHN-S certification.
• Case-management certification (ABOHN or CCMC).
• First Aid, AED, CPR, DOT Drug Screen Collector, and Breath Alcohol Technician certifications.
• Bi-lingual in English and Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Establish and manage an on-site health service clinic.
• Develop annualized budget projections for supplies, equipment, services, training, and certifications.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures in compliance with OSHA, DOT and other applicable regulations.
• Ensure OSHA-mandated programs and record-keeping standards are met.
• Oversee regulatory compliance with State Nurse Practice Act, FMLA, ADA, STD, LTD, EPA, and HIPAA.
• Supervise the Drug Testing Program (DOT and Non-DOT) and collect specimens per NIDA guidelines.
• Provide direct nursing care per State Nurse Practice Acts and act as first responder in onsite incidents.
• Coordinate health care services from injury evaluation through workers’ compensation and return-to-work planning.
• Compile and submit injury/accident reports to corporate and regulatory bodies.
• Manage transitional duty program and collaborate on disaster response and health promotions.
