Job summary

Sysco Boston is seeking an Occupational Health Nurse to lead the on-site health service clinic and support safety, health and wellness initiatives for the distribution workforce. This role collaborates withOperations, HR, Safety and Finance to meet Sysco's HSE goals and regulatory requirements.

The ideal candidate has nursing licensure in the state, 2 years nursing experience (emergency/critical care a plus) and experience in occupational health or case management.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Nursing required.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
• 2 years of nursing experience (emergency or critical care experience a plus).
• 1 year having served in an occupational health role AND/OR case management experience preferred.
• Work experience in a warehouse, distribution or manufacturing environment preferred.
• Previous experience in Safety and Workers' Compensation laws and regulations in the state where the OpCo resides preferred.

Responsibilities

• Establish and manage an onsite health service clinic.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures ensuring OSHA and HIPAA compliance.
• Oversee DOT/non-DOT drug testing and Breath Alcohol testing.
• Coordinate health care services through workers' compensation processes and return-to-work evaluations.
• Plan and implement health education and wellness programs for associates.
