Job summary

Sysco seeks a dedicated Occupational Health Nurse to lead an on-site health clinic at the Plympton facility. The role requires coordinating OSHA/DOT compliance, medical care, injury management, and wellness initiatives for a safe, healthy workforce.

The position emphasizes collaboration with Operations, HR, Safety, and Finance to support Sysco's HSE goals. RN licensure and ABOHN certification are preferred, with bilingual skills a plus.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Nursing required.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
• 2 years of nursing experience (emergency/critical care a plus).
• 1 year in occupational health or case management preferred.
• Warehouse/distribution/manufacturing experience preferred.
• RN licensed in the practicing state.
• ABOHN COHN/COHN-S certification desired.
• DOT drug screen collector and Breath Alcohol cert preferred.
• Bi-Lingual in English and Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Establish and manage an onsite health service clinic.
• Develop and manage annualized budgets for supplies, equipment and services.
• Develop and implement policies compliant with OSHA, DOT, HIPAA and other regs.
• Ensure OSHA programs and record-keeping standards are completed.
• Oversee drug screening (DOT and non-DOT).
• Train managers and associates on health topics and safety.
• Deliver clinical nursing care and emergency response.
• Coordinate workers' compensation and return-to-work processes.
• Maintain HIPAA-compliant health files and data.
• Collaborate on disaster response and safety committees.
