Job summary

ProgressiveHealth is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join our occupational health team at an H-E-B distribution facility in Houston, TX. You will deliver onsite medical care and support injury prevention and wellness programs in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate holds an NP license, CPR/BLS certification, and a DEA license if required, with strong communication and confidentiality skills. This role offers growth within the ProgressiveHealth family and provides a stable schedule

Qualifications

Master's or better in Nursing or related field.
Active, unrestricted NP license in state of practice location.
No disciplinary actions with any state or federal authorities or medical facility.
CPR/AED/BLS certification or ability to obtain before start.

Responsibilities

Provide direct, onsite patient care and professional services to meet client coverage hours.
Deliver occupational health services including assessments, histories, physical exams, and treatments.
Prescribe medications and treatments based on evidence-based practice standards.
Collaborate with nursing and safety staff to implement medical protocols and emergency plans.
Provide guidance and education to clinical staff as appropriate.
Support injury prevention initiatives and wellness programs to improve employee health and productivity.
Monitor employee health, conduct surveillance for occupational risks, and respond to health concerns.
