Job summary

ProgressiveHealth is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join an H-E-B distribution facility in Temple, TX. You will provide occupational health services in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, working directly with employees to keep them healthy, safe, and productive while supporting injury prevention and wellness programs.

The ideal candidate will perform assessments, histories, physical exams, and treatments; prescribe medications; and collaborate with safety staff to implement medical protocols,

Qualifications

• Master's or higher in Nursing or related field.
• Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in the practicing state.
• No current disciplinary proceedings or exclusions by Medicare/Medicaid or government lists.
• CPR/AED/BLS certification or ability to obtain before start; maintain current certification.
• DEA license if prescribing controlled substances.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site patient care and occupational health services to meet client coverage hours.
• Perform assessments, histories, physical exams, and treatments.
• Prescribe medications based on evidence-based practice standards.
• Collaborate with safety staff to implement medical protocols and emergency plans.
• Educate and guide other clinical staff as appropriate.
• Support injury prevention and wellness programs to improve health and productivity.
• Monitor employee health and respond to health concerns.
