VCU Massey Comprehensive Cancer Center is seeking a Nurse Manager (BSN) to lead coordinated service delivery and research operations within the Massey Central Admin. The role supervises seven staff, ensures quality patient care, and drives budget-focused oversight in a complex oncology environment.

Qualifications

• BSN with five years of progressive nursing experience, including at least two years in a supervisory role.
• Current unrestricted RN license in Virginia.
• Demonstrated clinical and research operations experience.
• Familiarity with budget/expense monitoring.
• Experience providing patient education and health-behavior counseling.
• Tobacco-treatment training completed before hire or within 12 months.
• Ability to work in and foster an environment of respect, professionalism and civility with a diverse population.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate clinical workflows and ensure timely communication across oncology, palliative, primary care, and partners.
• Supervise seven employees, assign work, onboarding and competency development, and conduct performance evaluations.
• Translate approved study plans into operational workflows and monitor recruitment, milestones, and safety concerns.
• Review research-related purchases and expenses and coordinate resolution of discrepancies with investigators.
