Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing from an accredited program (required).
• Master's degree in a related field within 5 years of hire (preferred or required by some roles).
• Active Registered Nurse license in Virginia; BLS certification required; valid driver's license for multi-site responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily clinical and operational activities for the Cancer Center.
• Support and mentor a team of experienced oncology clinicians dedicated to exceptional patient care.
• Drive quality outcomes, patient safety initiatives, and regulatory compliance efforts.
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, and administrative partners to optimize care delivery.
• Monitor staffing, workflow, resource utilization, and departmental performance metrics.
• Foster employee engagement, professional development, and retention within a close-knit team.
• Champion initiatives that enhance patient satisfaction and operational excellence.
• Ensure a seamless, high-quality experience for patients receiving complex oncology services.
