Compa Industries is seeking a Project Engineer 3 for a 100% onsite role at Los Alamos National Laboratory in Los Alamos, NM. The position requires a 6+ year engineering background and an ABET-accredited degree, with DOE Q clearance preferred or the ability to obtain it.

You will lead technical scopes, coordinate with customers, and manage the design review lifecycle while ensuring quality and compliance across all phases. LANL-specific standards and on-site execution are essential.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited engineering degree with 6+ years of experience
• DOE Q clearance or ability to obtain clearance
• 100% onsite at LANL; hybrid/remote not permitted

Responsibilities

• Lead development of technical scopes and coordinate with customers
• Manage full design review lifecycle (30%/60%/90%) with internal/external SMEs
• Champion technical quality and compliance across all phases of project execution
• Oversee design deviations and change control processes
• Collect, review, and archive project documentation in accordance with LANL standards
