Job summary

ENERCON Services, Inc. seeks a Senior Engineering Site Lead to head engineering projects at client facilities in Ontario, NY or Oswego, NY. You will guide technical teams, craft detailed proposals, and manage schedules, risks, and finances while delivering high-quality results and strengthening client relationships.

You will oversee engineers, designers, and subcontractors, coordinate with internal teams, and ensure project success through effective communication and proactive leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or PMP Certification with 8 years' applicable experience
• Typically requires 6 years' experience in power generation, energy, utility or nuclear industries as an Engineer or Project Manager
• Skilled in cost / workhour estimating and proposal development and review
• Capable of reporting on and managing scope, schedule, and cost for multiple projects executing simultaneously
• Knowledge in earned value management, rules of credit, and progress reporting
• Experienced in contract and non-disclosure agreement language development and review
• Ability to understand and work with budget and accounting processes
• Strong coordination and team building skills
• Excellent organizational, time management, strategic planning, writing, communication, decision-making, and presentation skills
• Effective communication skills with demonstrated ability to work across disciplines and teams
• Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Must be able to get badged at a nuclear facility
• Must be able to perform plant walkdowns
• Candidates must meet all ENERCON Project Manager qualification requirements within the required timeframe
• This position will be onsite at our clients facility and will require travel to the other facility as needed

Responsibilities

• Lead client and team relationships to deliver exceptional service and build strong partnerships
• Drive project leadership by developing engineering proposals, managing schedules and recovery plans
• Create comprehensive work plans, risk management, communication plans and work breakdown structures
• Oversee schedules and financial health, with timely reporting and performance tracking
• Manage engineers, designers, and subcontractors to ensure quality deliverables
• Support marketing efforts, including proposal preparation and identifying new opportunities
• Plan, implement, and supervise client contracts with travel to client sites as needed
