Job summary

ENERCON's Nuclear Services Group is seeking a Senior Engineering Site Lead to join the team. This onsite role will oversee engineering projects, create detailed proposals, manage schedules, risk, and financial health, and support marketing to grow the business.

You will supervise engineers, designers, and subcontractors to deliver high-quality results at client facilities in Brookfield, IL or Braceville, IL.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or PMP Certification; 8 years applicable experience.
• Typically 6 years experience in power generation, energy, utility or nuclear industries as an Engineer or Project Manager.
• Experience in cost/workhour estimating and proposal development.
• Ability to report on and manage scope, schedule and cost for multiple projects.
• Knowledge in earned value management, rules of credit, and progress reporting.
• Experience in contract and non-disclosure agreement language development and review.
• Ability to understand and work with budget and accounting processes.
• Strong coordination and team building skills.
• Excellent organizational, time management, strategic planning, writing, communication, decision-making, and presentation skills.
• Effective communication across disciplines and teams.
• Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Must be able to get badged at a nuclear facility.
• Must be able to perform plant walkdowns.
• Candidates must meet ENERCON Project Manager qualification requirements within the required timeframe.
• This position will be onsite at our clients facility and will require travel to the other facility as needed.

Responsibilities

• Client & Team Relations: Provide exceptional service to clients and teammates, fostering positive relationships.
• Project Leadership: Lead projects with technical colleagues to develop detailed engineering proposals, manage schedules, and execute recovery plans.
• Project Planning & Execution: Develop work plans, risk management strategies, communication plans, and work breakdown structures.
• Scheduling & Financial Management: Oversee project schedules, apply scheduling tools, and manage financial health with timely reporting.
• Team & Resource Management: Manage engineers, designers, and subcontractors, ensuring quality deliverables and adherence to standards.
• Client & Business Development: Maintain client relationships, manage scope, and support marketing and proposals.
• Contract & Project Oversight: Plan, implement, and supervise client contracts; travel to client facilities as needed.
