Job summary

Enercon Services, Inc. is seeking a Senior Engineering Site Lead to join our Nuclear Services Group.

Based onsite at either Ginna Nuclear Station or Nine Mile Point Nuclear Generating Station, you will lead engineering projects, coordinate with technical teams, and manage schedules, risk, and financial health while driving client satisfaction. You will oversee engineers, designers, and subcontractors, develop detailed proposals, and support marketing initiatives to grow the business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or PMP Certification with 8+ years in engineering/project management.
• 6+ years of experience in power generation, energy, utility or nuclear industries.
• Experience with cost/workhour estimating, proposal development and review.
• Ability to manage scope, schedule, and cost across multiple projects.
• Knowledge of earned value management, rules of credit, and progress reporting.
• Experience in contract language and NDA development.
• Ability to understand budgets and accounting processes.
• Strong coordination and team-building skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; MS Word/Excel/PowerPoint proficient.
• Must be able to badge at nuclear facility and travel to client sites.

• Lead projects by collaborating with technical colleagues to develop detailed engineering proposals, managing schedules, and executing recovery plans when needed.
• Develop comprehensive work plans, risk management strategies, communication plans, and work breakdown structures to ensure smooth project execution.
• Oversee project schedules, apply scheduling tools, and manage the financial health of projects, ensuring timely reporting and performance tracking.
• Manage engineers, designers, and subcontractors, ensuring quality deliverables, while supporting internal standards and resource management.
• Maintain strong client relationships, manage project scope, and support marketing efforts, including proposal preparation and identifying new opportunities.
• Plan, implement, and supervise client contracts, ensuring successful project execution, while traveling to client facilities as needed.

This position will be located onsite at either Ginna Nuclear Station in Ontario, NY OR Nine Mile Point Nuclear Generating Station in Oswego, NY.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering OR PMP Certification and generally has 8 years' applicable experience
• Typically requires 6 years' experience in power generation, energy, utility or nuclear industries as an Engineer or Project Manager
• Skilled in cost / workhour estimating and proposal development and review
• Capable of reporting on and managing scope, schedule, and cost for multiple projects executing simultaneously
• Knowledge in earned value management, rules of credit, and progress reporting
• Experienced in contract and non-disclosure agreement language development and review
• Ability to understand and work with budget and accounting processes
• Strong coordination and team building skills
• Excellent organizational, time management, strategic planning, writing, communication, decision-making, and presentation skills
• Effective communication skills with demonstrated ability to work across disciplines and teams
• Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Must be able to get badged at a nuclear facility
• Must be able to perform plant walkdowns
• Candidates must meet all ENERCON Project Manager qualification requirements within the required timeframe
• This position will be onsite at our clients facility and will require travel to the other facility as needed

Compensation Range

USD $107,200.00 - USD $187,000.00 /Yr.
