Qualifications

Responsibilities

Description

Leidos is seeking a Deputy Network Operations Security Center (NOSC) Manager at Fort Belvoir, VA to support large-scale migration and operations on a large, high-profile DOW contract. The I3TS program provides enterprise-wide IT support to enable the Defense Threat Reduction Agency's (DTRA) Information Management & Technology Directorate (J6) to consolidate, modernize, and continuously innovate the delivery of IT services and mission capabilities to DTRA's internal and external mission partners operating in CONUS and OCONUS locations.

The candidate will be an experienced NOSC Manager to oversee the operational integrity, security, and performance of critical network infrastructure. The Deputy NOSC Manager will lead a team responsible for monitoring, managing, and maintaining DoW networks, ensuring compliance with federal regulations and cybersecurity standards. This position is 100% onsite with a requested schedule of 10 am to 6 pm, Monday through Friday.

Clearance: Must possess an active Top Secret with SCI clearance at time of consideration.
Key Responsibilities
  • Network Oversight: Manage 24/7 NOSC operations, ensuring continuous monitoring, incident response, and resolution of network issues.

  • Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor a team of network engineers, systems administrators and analysts, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.

  • Incident Management: Oversee the identification, prioritization, and resolution of network incidents, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Cybersecurity Compliance: Ensure adherence to DoW cybersecurity policies, including RMF (Risk Management Framework) and NIST standards.

  • Performance Optimization: Analyze network performance metrics and implement strategies to enhance reliability and efficiency.

  • Reporting: Provide detailed reports on network status, incidents, and performance to senior leadership and DoW stakeholders.

  • Collaboration: Work with other DoW components, contractors, and vendors to support network modernization and integration efforts.

  • Training and Development: Develop and implement training programs to maintain team readiness and technical proficiency.

  • Backfill shifts as necessary.

Basic Qualifications
  • BA/BS or equivalent experience and 8+ years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6+ years of prior relevant experience. Specific experience, education and training may be considered in lieu of degree.

  • Minimum of 3 years in a supervisory or management role.

  • Proven experience managing enterprise-level networks in a DoW or federal environment.

  • CompTIA Security+ or IAT Level II equivalent certification.

  • Must possess an active Top Secret with SCI clearance at time of consideration.

Preferred
  • ITIL Foundation certification

  • Experience with SolarWinds licensing, configuration, management and monitoring.

  • Experience with VMWare, Active Directory, RSA Tokens, CAC Pin Resets, and ServiceNOW.

  • CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) or other computing environment certification.

  • Experience with DoW-specific cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., DIACAP, STIGs).

  • Familiarity with software-defined networking (SDN) and zero-trust architectures.

Pay Range:Pay Range $116,350.00 - $210,325.00
