Job summary

GovCIO is seeking a Network (NOC) Administrator to monitor and support the stability, performance, and operations of the enterprise network infrastructure. This on-site role in El Paso, TX requires an active Secret clearance and focuses on initial triage, documentation, and escalation of network issues according to SOPs.

Qualifications

• High School with 6-9 years of network administration (or commensurate experience).
• Clearance Required: Active Secret clearance with ability to obtain and hold DEA suitability.
• NOC experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor network stability and performance to ensure continual operations.
• Perform initial triage and troubleshooting for network and systems issues; document actions and escalate as required.
• Monitor UPS health and performance.
• Monitor server health, event logs, and performance counters.
• Follow System Operating Procedures (SOP) for all operational tasks.
• Open, track, and follow up on service tickets with WAN circuit vendors.
• Troubleshoot and assist in problem resolution for WAN issues.
• Work with network infrastructure tools and equipment, including Cisco, Juniper, and Forerunner.
• Utilize network analysis tools such as Cisco Prime, SolarWinds, ISE, ASDM, ScienceLogic SL1, Catalyst Center, and WLCs.
