Job summary

GovCIO is hiring a Network (NOC) Administrator with an active Secret clearance to monitor and support the stability, performance, and operations of the enterprise network infrastructure. This role is located in El Paso, TX and is fully onsite.

The shift includes outside of standard business hours to include overnights and weekends. Responsibilities include monitoring network stability, performing triage, documenting actions, and escalating issues per SOPs; working with WAN circuit vendors and

Qualifications

• High School with 6-9 years of network administration (or commensurate experience).
• Foundational knowledge of networking fundamentals, routing, switching, and WAN technologies.
• Familiarity with enterprise network monitoring tools.
• Ability to document actions clearly and follow escalation procedures.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Clearance Required: Active Secret clearance with ability to obtain and hold DEA suitability.
• NOC experience highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor network stability and performance to ensure continual operations.
• Perform initial triage and troubleshooting for network and systems issues; document actions and expedite as required.
• Monitor UPS health and performance.
• Monitor server health, event logs, and performance counters.
• Follow System Operating Procedures (SOP) for all operational tasks.
• Open, track, and follow up on service tickets with WAN circuit vendors.
• Troubleshoot and assist in problem resolution for WAN issues.
• Work with network infrastructure tools and equipment, including Cisco, Juniper, and Forerunner.
• Utilize network analysis tools such as: Cisco Prime; SolarWinds; Identity Services Engine (ISE); Cisco Adaptive Security Device Manager (ASDM); ScienceLogic SL1; Cisco Catalyst Center; Wireless LAN Controllers (WLC).

This role focuses on initial triage, documentation, and escalation of network and systems issues, while ensuring adherence to established operating procedures. This position is located in El Paso, TX, and is fully onsite. SHIFT: Outside of standard business hours to include overnights and weekends

• Monitor server health, event logs, and performance counters.
• Follow System Operating Procedures (SOP) for all operational tasks.
• Open, track, and follow up on service tickets with WAN circuit vendors.
• Troubleshoot and assist in problem resolution for Wide Area Network (WAN) issues.
• Work with network infrastructure tools and equipment, including Cisco, Juniper, and Forerunner.
• Utilize network analysis tools such as:
