Job summary

BCforward is seeking a Network Engineer to join our onsite team in Bothell, WA for a 5-month contract. You will support a manufacturing environment with Cisco Routing and Switching, SDA, and focused on availability, performance, and security.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of enterprise network experience, strong troubleshooting, and collaboration with vendors and internal teams. This role offers onsite work with opportunities to contribute to incident resolution and change implementation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in enterprise network engineering or operations.
• Hands-on Cisco Routing and Switching configuration and troubleshooting.
• Experience with SDA and policy-based networking.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and teamwork in customer-facing settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite support for Cisco Routing and Switching and Cisco SDA environments.
• Manage, monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot site network infrastructure.
• Perform incident resolution, problem management, and root cause analysis for network issues.
• Support network changes, upgrades, and implementations per operational requirements.
• Ensure network availability, performance, and security in line with customer standards and SLAs.
• Collaborate with customer stakeholders, vendors, and internal teams to support manufacturing operations.
• Maintain technical documentation and deliver operational reporting.
