Job summary

A leading technology company is seeking a Lead Engineer for an on-site night shift position focused on supporting and enhancing their global Wi-Fi network. You will manage security vulnerabilities, migrate services to a new data center, and have a strong grasp of Cisco platforms, including ISE and Catalyst 9400. This contract role is essential for maintaining network integrity and addressing equipment needs. Candidates must be able to work from 8 PM to 6 AM on-site, utilizing their own device to connect via Citrix.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead support for the global Wi-Fi network and security updates.
• Manage migration to new data center core infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot various existing platforms and support network segmentation.
• Configure and operate Cisco Nexus and Catalyst 9400 platforms.
• Address security vulnerabilities and troubleshoot across environments.
• Support 802.1x, network segmentation, and migration of services to cloud.

100% ON SITE
NIGHT SHIFT ROLE
On‑site Sun, Mon, Tue, Wed 8PM-6AM. No WFH.
Candidate will need to use their own device to connect via Citrix.

Lead Engineer

• Immediate requirement for support and addressing growth of the global Wi‑Fi network, including all updates, security vulnerabilities, SSID adjustments
• Support of Cisco ISE – Security Policy management platform
• Data Center Infrastructure, migration of Fabric Path to new data center core, configuration and operation support
• Knowledge and experience with
  1. MAN/WAN – MPLS, SD‑WAN
  2. Cisco Nexus configuration and operation
  3. Catalyst 9400 platform – configuration and operation
• Working knowledge of Cisco vPC and practical application for Data Centers
• Responsible for addressing Security Vulnerabilities
• Expert knowledge troubleshooting and supporting various existing platforms
• Support for 802.1x and network segmentation
• Support of migration of services to Cloud infrastructure
