Job summary

Rackspace Technology is seeking a senior network engineer to design, architect, implement, and support enterprise and multi-datacenter networks. You will work on routing, switching, fabric, and security, mentor other engineers, and participate in on-call rotations.

Remote-based role with occasional travel to the Seattle area; Cisco ACI and SDA experience with policy and segmentation is highly valued. You will lead projects and develop documentation and diagrams for network initiatives.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of enterprise network design, configuration, installation, maintenance, and upgrade.
• Strong TCP/IP, OSI model, and switching knowledge.
• Expertise in BGP and OSPF design, troubleshooting, and optimization.

Responsibilities

• Designs and architects scalable network solutions across routing, switching, fabric, and security domains.
• Leads complex troubleshooting for routing, fabric, switching, and firewall policy conflicts.
• Architects Cisco ACI fabric environments and SDA fabrics including DNA Center policy.
• Configures and troubleshoots BGP/OSPF routing and multi-site architectures.
• Maintains high-availability switching infrastructure across Nexus, ACI, and SD-Access fabrics.
